For every listing he takes, Guy invests in it by having professional photographs taken, working with a web developer to give each property an address-specific website, creating professionally designed color brochures, bulk-mailing a minimum of 200 direct mail pieces about the property to the surrounding neighborhood, weekly advertising in the Los Angeles Times, extensive advertising in the Sun Community covering every home owner in Sherman Oaks, Studio City and Encino.
Simply said, Guy is willing to go the extra mile and do whatever it takes to get a job done. Unafraid of getting his hands dirty, Guy has been known to get on the streets and hand deliver property brochures to approximately 450 neighboring houses. Bringing in a cleaning crew is also an extra step Guy has been known to take to ensure that the properties he represents are marketed in the best possible way.

Guy was born in the historic town of Canandaigua located in beautiful upstate New York. In 1986 he graduated from the State University of New York College at Cortland and within 2 years of moving to Los Angeles, became a licensed broker specializing in the San Fernando Valley. Guy and his family currently reside in Library Square Neighborhood of Sherman Oaks.
Guy and his wife Shari Violas, CEO of Robertson Taylor Insurance Agency in Sherman Oaks, have been married for 22 years and are blessed with two daughters, ages 19 and 18. Amanda is now attending University of Oregon and Melina attends Syracuse University in New York where she is on the Volleyball Team. When they are not working, the family is almost always outdoors, as they all share a love for basketball, boating, golf, soccer, volleyball, skiing, and spending time at their lake home back in upstate New York. He currently owns a home and lives in the Library Square Neighborhood of Sherman Oaks.
Guy is an avid believer in assisting local charities and is happy to support the Dubnoff Center for Child Development, as well as Notre Dame High School, and the Ho Diocese in Ghana.
